Rake-A-Thon Marquam Nature Park

Project Description:

Come join in a community effort to rake Marquam Nature Park's trails! When leaves are left on our trails, they hold water, hide tripping hazards, and create mud. Raking leaves off our trails each autumn helps keep them in good shape throughout the winter, as well as keep trail users safer.

When: Saturday, November 14th, 2026 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.

Where: Marquam Nature Park Shelter. Parking is limited. Carpooling is encouraged! A portable restroom will be available at this site.

What: Raking fallen leaves from the trail. This activity takes place outdoors. We will be working on the trails, which requires hiking (up to 3 miles) uneven terrain and physical labor in the forest (up to 2.5 hours).
